Change lost password in linux os
First of all turn on the pc and while booting hold SHIFT key for
GRUB MENU.You will get GRUB.In GRUB go to advanced option and start in
recovery mode.After that you will get one menu and in that select “DROP
ROOT SHELL PROMPT”.In root shell text command given bellow.
passwd username
You will be asked for entering new password for two times.Reboot
your pc……ENJOY!………………….
